SINGAPORE - 15 May 2009 - Creative Technology Ltd (“Creative”) wishes to announce that
pursuant to its filing of a Form 15F with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on
12 February 2009 to voluntarily terminate the registration of its Ordinary Shares (“Shares”) under
Section 12(g) as well as its reporting obligations under Sections 13(a) and 15(d) of the United
States Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”), Creative's registration
of its Shares and reporting obligations under the Exchange Act terminated on 13 May 2009.
Creative's Shares will continue to be listed and traded on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading
Limited (“SGX-ST”). As a SGX-ST listed reporting issuer, Creative will comply with the continuing
listing requirements and guidelines issued by the SGX-ST.
Creative's shareholders whose Shares are currently not traded on the SGX-ST may transfer their
Shares to an account with The Central Depository (Pte) Limited, the Securities Clearing and
Depository division of the SGX-ST so that their Shares can be traded on the SGX-ST. Please check
